1. Main Functions



Temperature and humidity monitoring system based on STM32 microcontroller with LCD1602 display in Proteus simulation design
1. The STM32 microcontroller detects the DHT11 temperature and humidity in real-time, with a temperature range of 0 to 50°C and a humidity range of 20%-90%
2. Serial port real-time transmission of detected temperature and humidity to the computer’s serial debugging assistant for remote monitoring;
3. LCD1602 displays the monitored temperature and humidity in real-time;

2. Simulation Design



Open the simulation project, double-click the microcontroller in Proteus, select the hex file path, and then start the simulation.
After starting the simulation, the serial debugging assistant displays the temperature detection value, and the first line of the LCD1602 shows the temperature detection value of 50°C and the humidity measurement value of 90%.


3. Program Design



The program is opened with Keil 5 MDK version. If there are issues opening it, verify the version of Keil. The program is written in HAL version and includes STM32CubeMX configuration files. Comments are provided to help understand in conjunction with the explanation video.

With the rapid development of IoT technology, the demand for environmental parameter monitoring in agriculture, warehousing, smart homes, and other fields is increasing. As a key environmental parameter, the accurate monitoring and real-time display of temperature and humidity are crucial for system stability. Traditional temperature and humidity monitoring devices have issues such as single functionality and insufficient data visualization, while the intelligent monitoring system based on the STM32 microcontroller can achieve low-cost and high-reliability environmental monitoring by integrating sensors, display modules, and communication functions.
This design uses the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller as the core, combined with the DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, LCD1602 display, and serial communication technology to construct a real-time monitoring and remote data transmission system. The system functionality is verified through Proteus simulation, providing a theoretical basis for subsequent hardware development, with academic research value and engineering practical significance.
