Software Introduction:
Proteus is a globally recognized EDA tool. Proteus combines circuit simulation software, PCB design software, and virtual model simulation software into a professional electronic design platform, mainly used for the design and development of various electrical and electronic components. The software supports the use of 8051, HC11, PIC10/12/16/18/24/30/DsPIC33 processors and is compatible with multiple compilers such as AR, Keil, and MATLAB.
Installation Method:
1. Right-click the software zip file and select “Extract to ‘Proteus 8.6′”.
2. In the extracted folder, find “Proteus_8.6_SP2_Pro”, right-click to open.
3. Click “Browse” to change the installation path; it is recommended to install it on a disk other than C, such as creating a “Proteus 8.6” folder on D drive, then click “Next”.
4. Click “Next”.
5. During installation (wait about 5 minutes).
6. Click “Finish”.
7. In the extracted folder, find the “Translations” folder, right-click and select “Copy”.
8. Go to the D drive and find “Proteus 8.6”, right-click to open.
9. In an empty space, right-click and select “Paste”.
10. Click “Yes”.
11. Check the option to apply this action to the next 26 conflicts, then click “Copy and Replace”.
12. Find “Proteus 8 Professional” on the desktop, right-click to open.
13. Installation completed.
