Get the Proteus Installation Package
I have uploaded the installation package used in this article to Baidu Cloud. Scan the QR code below to follow “Main Studio” and reply with 【0011】 to get the sharing link for free.
Install Proteus
1. Find and select the downloaded “ Proteus Installation Package ” zip file and extract it.
2. Double-click to open the extracted “ Proteus Installation Package ” folder.
3. Right-click on “ Proteus 8.17 SP2 Pro.exe ” and run as administrator.
4. Click “ Browse… ” to select the software installation path (if using the default path, just click “ Next> ”).
5. After selecting the installation path, click “ Next> ”.
6. Click “ Next> ”.
7. Wait for the installation to complete.
8. Once installation is complete, click “ Finish ”.
Localize Proteus
9. Go back to the desktop and find the “ Proteus Icon ”, right-click and select “ Open File Location ”.
10. In the opened path, click on “ Proteus 8 Professional ”.
11. Go back to the Proteus installation package, select the “ Translations ” folder, copy it, and paste it into the path from step 10.
12. Click “ Replace the files in the destination ”.
13. Return to the desktop and double-click to open the software.
14. If the following image appears and you can create a new project, the installation is successful.
