Jiang Qinyu, a student from the 2024 Class of Embedded Engineering, IoT Applications, graduated from Meishan Experimental High School. In June of this year, he registered Sichuan Hongshu Zhichuang Technology Co., Ltd. (a sole proprietorship), embarking on his entrepreneurial journey based on his professional expertise.
Upon entering university, the rich curriculum of the IoT Applications program opened the door to the world of technology for Jiang Qinyu. The strong faculty of the School of Intelligent Engineering and the clear, in-depth professional teaching quickly solidified his core knowledge in hardware and software design, as well as embedded development. The diverse innovation and entrepreneurship activities at the school ignited his passion for transforming theory into practice.
In the second semester of his freshman year, with a solid foundation and innovative thinking, he achieved numerous honors, including third place in the Deyang Challenge Cup (provincial competition), third place in the Computer Works Competition (provincial competition), third place in the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (provincial competition), and second place in the school competition, accumulating valuable project experience on the competition stage. As he entered his sophomore year, he steadily advanced towards the direction of “technical deepening,” successfully obtaining the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Information Security Management Certificate. He also won second place in the provincial competition and third place in the national competition for the “Industrial Technology Collection and Edge Control” project at the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Competition, as well as third place in the AI Intelligent Trainer (provincial competition). Each certificate and trophy not only recognized his professional abilities but also became his confidence on the entrepreneurial path.
In June 2024, bolstered by both professional knowledge and competition experience, Jiang Qinyu officially launched Sichuan Hongshu Zhichuang Technology Co., Ltd. (a sole proprietorship), marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. Leveraging his expertise in IoT applications, he focused the company’s core business on PCB schematic outsourcing services, covering hardware and software integrated design and development outsourcing. With precise technical solutions and efficient execution capabilities, he helps clients significantly reduce project duration and time costs. Currently, the company’s client base is steadily increasing, forming a stable source of income, and the entrepreneurial project is gradually getting on track.
When discussing his entrepreneurial motivation, he initially just wanted to apply the knowledge learned in class to solidify his skills through practical projects, laying a foundation for future work. This simple motivation, under the careful guidance of professional teachers, gradually evolved into a firm entrepreneurial belief. “My professional teachers are like my second parents; they provided me with a new path and guided me in life.” Jiang Qinyu expressed, especially highlighting the encouragement and guidance from Professors Wang and Gao, which helped him gradually understand the core logic of market demand and customer service while participating in the school’s innovation and entrepreneurship salon and competitions. It is this bond between teachers and students, along with professional support, that has allowed him to walk more steadily and further on his entrepreneurial path.
From a seeker of knowledge on campus to a practitioner in the market, Jiang Qinyu exemplifies the true meaning of “unity of knowledge and action.” His entrepreneurial story is not only a vivid reflection of the achievements in cultivating talent in IoT applications but also inspires more students to base their pursuits on professionalism and soar with innovation, bravely chasing their dreams on the track of youth.
