Working Principle and Advantages of Photoelectric Liquid Level Sensors
(1) Working Principle: The photoelectric liquid level sensor is a new type of contact liquid level measurement and control device developed based on the principle of reflection and refraction of light at the interface of two different media.
(2) Advantages: It has many advantages such as simple structure, high positioning accuracy; no mechanical parts, no need for debugging; high sensitivity and corrosion resistance; low power consumption; and small size, which have gradually gained market recognition.

Since the output of the liquid level is only related to whether the photoelectric probe is in contact with the liquid surface, and is independent of other characteristics of the medium, such as temperature, pressure, density, and electrical parameters, the photoelectric liquid level sensor provides accurate detection and high repeatability; it has a fast response speed, very precise liquid level control, and can be directly installed and used without calibration.
2. Due to the relatively small size of the photoelectric liquid level sensor probe, it can be installed separately in narrow spaces, making it suitable for use in special tanks or containers. Additionally, multiple photoelectric probes can be installed on a single measurement body to create multi-point liquid level sensors or controllers.
3. Since all internal components of the sensor are encapsulated in resin, there are no mechanical moving parts inside the photoelectric liquid level sensor, resulting in high reliability, long lifespan, and maintenance-free operation.
