300. Oil Blending

Oil Blending

Oil Blending

Oil blending is a technology that involves mixing raw materials into fuel according to national standards by testing the density, cetane number, and distillation temperature of petroleum fractions and chemical additives. Raw materials include petroleum fractions, waste engine oil, tire oil, etc. The blended products are divided into two categories: standard and non-standard, and are widely used in vehicle fuel, heat supply, and other fields.
301. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)

Programmable Logic Controllers

Programmable Logic Controller

A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a general-purpose industrial automatic control device that uses a microprocessor as its core and integrates computer technology, automatic control technology, and communication technology. It uses a programmable memory as its internal instruction storage device and has functions such as logic, sorting, timing, counting, and arithmetic operations.
302.VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds)

Volatile Organic Compounds

Volatile Organic Compounds

VOC is an abbreviation for volatile organic compounds, sometimes also represented by TVOC (total volatile organic compounds). In the general sense, VOC refers to volatile organic compounds. According to the World Health Organization, it refers to compounds with a boiling point between 50℃ and 260℃ at normal pressure (101.32 kPa), meaning they exist in gaseous form at room temperature. However, in an environmental context, it refers to a more reactive class of volatile organic compounds, specifically those that can cause harm.
Knowledge Expansion
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are important precursors to secondary pollutants such as fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and ozone (O3), which in turn cause atmospheric environmental problems such as haze and photochemical smog. With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in my country and the continuous growth of energy consumption, regional complex air pollution characterized by PM2.5 and O3 is becoming increasingly prominent. The frequency of large-scale simultaneous occurrences of severe air pollution within regions is increasing, seriously restricting sustainable socio-economic development and threatening public health. To fundamentally solve the pollution problems of PM2.5 and O3 and effectively improve air quality, the state should actively promote the prevention and control of VOCs, their key precursors. However, my country’s current VOCs pollution prevention and control infrastructure is relatively weak, with many problems such as unclear emission baselines, incomplete regulations and standards, lagging application of control technologies, and inadequate environmental supervision. Furthermore, due to the complex sources, diverse forms, and numerous types of VOCs emissions, establishing a comprehensive VOCs pollution prevention and control system is quite difficult. Therefore, how to comprehensively carry out VOCs pollution prevention and control in accordance with my country’s actual situation is an urgent, arduous, and complex task.
