Understanding the Software
Multisim is a Windows-based simulation tool launched by National Instruments (NI) for the design of board-level analog/digital circuits. It features graphical input for circuit schematics and a hardware description language input method, with extensive simulation analysis capabilities. With Multisim and virtual instrumentation technology, PCB design engineers and electronics educators can complete a comprehensive design process from theory to schematic capture, simulation, and prototype design and testing.

Installation Guide
1. After downloading the software, extract it.
Double-click to open the extracted software folder.
3. Double-click setup.exe to run it.
4. Fill in Full Name and Organization as desired, then click Next.
5. Click No.
6. Click Browse to change the installation location. It is recommended to install it on a disk other than C. You can create a new folder named Multisim10 on D: or another disk and select it, then click Next (If you do not need to change the installation location or only have C drive, just click Next).
7. Click Next.
8. Agree to the agreement and click Next.
9. Select I accept the above 2 License Agreement, then click Next.
10. Click Next.
11. Installing…
12. Click Next.
13. Click OK.
14. Click Close.
15. The software will prompt to restart the computer. Here we select the last option “Restart Later” to not restart.
16. Go back to the software extraction folder, select NILicense Activator 1.2, right-click and run as administrator.
17. Right-click and click Activate…
18. Right-click on each and click Activate…
19. Start Menu, click Multisim.
20. Software installation completed.
The following steps are for localization; if localization is not needed, you can skip the following steps.
Open the localization folder in the extracted software installation package folder.

2. Copy the Chinese-simplified file.
3. Copy the localization patch “Chinese-simplified” to the stringfiles folder in the software directory. The default directory is C:ProgramFiles (x86)National InstrumentsCircuit Design Suite10.0stringfiles (detailed installation path in step 6). My path is D:\Multisim10\Circuit Design Suite 10.0\stringfiles
4. Start the software from the Start Menu.
5. Localization completed. (If the interface is in English, select the menu Options > Global Preferences, click General, then select the language: English is represented as ‘english’, ZH is for Chinese. Restart the software to see it in Chinese.)
