The military uses the barracks as the core node, employing GTA600 devices to lay out a fiber optic backbone network, connecting various barracks, posts, and training grounds. Main devices are deployed in the barracks, interfacing with core facilities such as command centers to achieve efficient data aggregation; remote devices are deployed at posts and training grounds, interconnected with main devices via fiber optics, successfully establishing a high-speed and stable backbone transmission link, effectively solving previous issues of bandwidth limitations and communication interruptions.

The GTA600 realizes multi-service integrated transmission for the military through its rich interfaces. In voice communication, its voice interface seamlessly connects with the military’s program-controlled telephone system, supporting dozens of concurrent calls across multiple barracks, ensuring daily office and emergency command operations. In video surveillance, high-speed Ethernet interfaces connect cameras, transmitting HD images back to the command center in real-time, achieving comprehensive monitoring of barracks and training grounds. Additionally, training results, equipment status, and other data are quickly transmitted via the GTA600, providing precise data support for training management.

Considering the complex task environment of the military, the redundancy backup mechanism and environmental adaptability of the GTA600 are key to ensuring communication. In the backbone network, the device employs a 1+1 redundancy protection design for optical ports, allowing for quick switching to a backup link in case the main link is damaged, ensuring uninterrupted communication. Moreover, the device can operate stably in extreme conditions such as high temperatures, low temperatures, and humidity, providing reliable support for combat training. For example, during a recent emergency training exercise in mountainous areas, heavy rain damaged the lines, but the GTA600 quickly switched to the redundant link, ensuring real-time communication between the command center and the training unit, allowing the exercise to be completed successfully.
