Recently, the 11th Qujing Youth Robotics Competition and the 3rd Youth Drone Competition concluded successfully.Students from Huize Yiwang High School stood out among numerous participating teams with solid professional knowledge, outstanding innovative thinking, and stable performance, achieving excellent results.
Overcoming challenges, 4 students advance to the finals
In the preliminary online selection phase of the robosim virtual robot competition, facing fierce competition, the students from Yiwang withstood the pressure and competed vigorously, with 4 successfully qualifying for the finals, securing their “entry ticket” for the on-site finals and preparing thoroughly for the subsequent sprint. A total of 10 participants from Huize County’s elementary, middle, and high schools competed in the virtual robot competition, with 4 from the elementary level, 3 from the middle school level, and all 3 high school participants being students from Yiwang High School.

At the finals, the Yiwang competitors were unflustered and skillfully controlled the virtual robots, accurately completing various competition tasks. Each operation demonstrated a solid technical foundation, fully showcasing good technological literacy and strong practical abilities.

After several rounds of intense competition, the students from Yiwang lived up to expectations, ultimately winning 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 1 third prize, delivering an impressive performance.

This competition was jointly organized by the Qujing Science and Technology Association, the Qujing Education and Sports Bureau, and other departments, aiming to popularize artificial intelligence knowledge and inspire youth innovation enthusiasm.The achievements of the students from Yiwang High School not only reflect a high recognition of the school’s technology education efforts but also provide valuable competition experience for the students.
