Conducting Career Experience Activities
To break down the barriers between the classroom and industry, and to allow students to gain an in-depth understanding of the real work scenarios of “data annotation,” a fundamental and critical link in the AI industry chain, on the afternoon of November 21, 2025, the AI College organized 32 students from the 2024 class of AI Technology Application and the 2025 class of Intelligent Robotics Technology to visit the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center – Shuju Bian Technology Co., Ltd., successfully conducting a career experience activity themed “Shaping the Future: Training Excellence.” Data is hailed as the “cornerstone of artificial intelligence,” and data annotators are the “trainers of AI models.” Through hands-on experience, students glimpsed the rigorous and meticulous data preparation work behind intelligent algorithms, deeply understanding the important role human wisdom plays in the capability leap from raw data to intelligent models.
At Shuju Bian Technology Co., Ltd., the company leaders and technical experts warmly welcomed the teachers and students. The students first visited the company’s innovation achievement exhibition hall and technology development site, gaining a more systematic understanding of the cutting-edge technology, application scenarios, and development prospects of humanoid robots. Subsequently, the activity entered the core segment – practical experience in data annotation positions. Guided by the instructor, the entire process of converting unordered data into machine-readable “textbooks” was clearly revealed. This segment served as a bridge connecting theory and practice, igniting students’ strong enthusiasm for their profession while deepening their understanding. Wu Jiayue, a student from the 2024 AI Technology Application program, remarked after the activity: “I used to think AI was very profound and far from us. After hands-on operation today, I realized that each of us can participate in the creation of AI. This gave me a more concrete sense of identity and mission regarding my major.”
This career experience activity, “Shaping the Future: Training Excellence,” is one of the important measures taken by the college to promote school-enterprise collaborative education and strengthen students’ career guidance. It not only broadened students’ professional horizons and solidified their professional thoughts but also planted the seeds of commitment to intelligent manufacturing and the construction of a digital China in their hearts. In the future, the college will continue to expand cooperation paths with top enterprises in the industry, through more diversified practical activities, to consolidate students’ professional identity and career aspirations, laying a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents.
