From September 23 to 26, the Uzbekistan Information and Communication Technology Week (ICT WEEK) was grandly held, where the Global Computing Coalition (GCC), as China’s first international industry and standards organization in the computing field, was invited to exhibit, attracting over a thousand international friends for communication. During the event, GCC, in collaboration with Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) and other member units, jointly released the Global Computing Industry Development Research Report (Central Asia Special) and delivered a keynote speech titled AI Computing Industry Pulse: Trends, Practices, and Opportunities.

As Uzbekistan’s largest annual information technology event, the “ICT WEEK” has been held for 21 years, witnessing the development and transformation of information and communication technology in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia region. The event gathered many internationally renowned companies and featured forums, summits, and special discussions to deeply explore the latest trends, innovative applications, and solutions in global information and communication technology.

During this exhibition, GCC set up exhibition points around the three core business areas of “New Architecture, New Standards, New Ecology” and presented over 20 significant achievements of the coalition, comprehensively showcasing the coalition’s standard achievements, architectural practices, and ecological collaborative value in the field of computing infrastructure, injecting momentum into the collaborative development of the global computing industry and anchoring a new direction for the ecological development of the intelligent computing industry.

During the exhibition, GCC directly engaged in face-to-face communication with local government departments, academic institutions, and business representatives, helping GCC gain a deeper understanding of the market demands in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia region, better gathering global computing industry chain resources, and injecting new vitality into the development of the global computing industry.

During the exhibition, GCC, in collaboration with Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) and other member units, jointly released the Global Computing Industry Development Research Report (Central Asia Special), which deeply analyzed the development trends of the global computing industry and China’s advanced computing practices, discussed the close relationship between the computing industry and the digital economy, and elaborated on the important value of computing power for global economic development, providing key guidance for promoting the development of the global computing industry.

On September 24, the global computing coalition’s vice-chair unit and platinum member Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. hosted the 2025 Digital Economy Forum themed “Information Communication Technology and Artificial Intelligence – Turning Ideas into Digital Reality.” Hu Wenbiao, Director of International Business Department of the Global Computing Coalition, was invited to represent GCC at the forum to deliver a speech titled AI Computing Industry Pulse: Trends, Practices, and Opportunities. This presentation elaborated on how, in the current wave of rapid development of artificial intelligence, the computing industry is gradually moving towards a data-centric diverse peer architecture system, with cloud-edge-end collaboration profoundly impacting industry digitization and human social development. He stated that under this background, GCC, as a global alliance organization, bears a significant mission and will continue to solidify and expand the concept and connotation of new computing architecture overseas, engaging global member partners to promote innovative development in the global computing industry.

In the future, GCC will continue to focus on the three core business areas of new architecture consensus, new standard construction, and new ecological development, working together with global members and industry partners to promote the prosperous development of the computing industry ecosystem, providing solid support and strong guarantees for building a globally intelligent and efficient digital society.
