Rockchip, in collaboration with Arm and OPEN AI LAB, launched the AI development platform.

On September 14, 2018, in Shanghai, China, at the first “Arm Artificial Intelligence Developer Global Summit” hosted by Arm China and AIEC, Rockchip, Arm China, and OPEN AI LAB jointly released the EAIDK (Embedded AI Development Kit) development platform based on the RK3399 chip, aimed at the design and development of embedded AI applications.
The RK3399 EAIDK development platform, jointly released by Rockchip, Arm China, and OPEN AI LAB, is a hardware development kit that integrates reference design, chip debugging and testing, and chip validation. It leverages OPEN AI LAB’s AI core software platform AID and Rockchip RK3399 chip’s powerful multimedia interfaces and rich peripheral interfaces, providing developers with high-quality hardware reference designs, allowing them to complete hardware development for AI products with minimal or no modifications to the reference design module circuits.
