This chip is based on the Big.Little architecture, featuring a dual-core Cortex-A72 with a dedicated NEON co-processor and a quad-core Cortex-A53 combination. It is primarily used in computers, personal internet mobile devices, VR, advertising machines, and other smart terminal devices. The RK3399 has multiple high-performance hardware processing engines that support various video decoding formats, such as 4K*2K@60fps H.264/H.265/VP9, and also supports 1080P@30fps H.264/MVC/VP8, as well as high-quality JPEG encoding and decoding and image preprocessing.
