This device is actually quite interesting; it’s essentially a small mechanical hand that can help you press buttons. For instance, in my home, when I need to change shoes in the morning and can’t use my hands, it can press the elevator button for me. It can also be used to control door locks, toilets, and even some older devices remotely via phone. Sometimes, when I order takeout, I don’t have to run to the door to open it; I can just press a button on my phone. Although it looks a bit like a toy for kids, it’s very convenient to use, especially for lazy people or those with a bit of OCD.

Installing smart lighting throughout the house can be quite expensive, but adding a few smart switches is a small investment that yields significant benefits. Today’s smart switches not only respond to voice commands but also can detect when someone enters or leaves a room to turn the lights on or off automatically. You no longer have to fumble in the dark for a switch when you come home, and the bathroom can automatically turn on ventilation when someone is inside for a long time. Air conditioners and fans can also be set to turn off automatically. Honestly, I’ve almost forgotten where the manual switches are.
08 Smart Door Lock
Finally, let’s talk about smart door locks, which I strongly recommend installing. They offer fingerprint, password, card, and facial recognition options, making access incredibly convenient. Elderly family members and children can use them easily, and you don’t have to worry about losing keys. Some new models can even display the weather and time, so you can quickly check what to wear before heading out without even needing to grab your phone. The sense of security and convenience is elevated to a whole new level.
