Table of Contents for Volume 3 of the Meizhou Literature Compilation

Table of Contents for Volume 3 of the Meizhou Literature CompilationIn order to preserve the literature of our hometown, in 1975, the overseas compatriots from Meixian, Qiu Xiuqiang and Qiu Shangyao, established the Meizhou Literature Society, intending to publish the “Meizhou Literature Compilation” in batches. They initially funded the printing of the first volume out of their own pockets, but unfortunately, sales were poor, and they could not recover the printing costs. They called upon their fellow townsmen in Taiwan to sponsor the printing fees, but the response was limited. Fortunately, they received generous donations from compatriots in South Africa and RĂ©union, which alleviated their financial difficulties. Subsequently, they received continuous generous donations from compatriots in RĂ©union, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, and over seven years, a total of twelve volumes of the “Meizhou Literature Compilation” were published, becoming a precious collection of literature. At the request and suggestion of relevant historians and scholars, the table of contents is now published for the reference of scholars and researchers, serving as a clue for studying the history of Meizhou, especially modern history.Table of Contents for Volume 3 of the Meizhou Literature Compilation
