Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are the core components of electronic products, and their manufacturing and quality control are crucial for the healthy development of the entire electronics industry. To better regulate the PCB market, the Chinese government has established a series of relevant national standards. Below is a list of common PCB national standards, which we hope will be helpful to everyone.
1. GB/T 3098.1-2010 “Mechanical Properties of Fasteners – Bolts, Screws, and Studs”
This standard specifies the mechanical performance requirements for bolts, screws, and studs, including tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, impact toughness, and other indicators, to ensure the stability and reliability of fasteners on PCBs.
2. GB/T 4942.1-2006 “Solder Mask for Printed Boards – Part 1: General Type”
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for general type solder masks, ensuring the stable performance of solder masks in the PCB manufacturing process.
3. GB/T 4942.2-2006 “Solder Mask for Printed Boards – Part 2: No-Clean Type”
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for no-clean type solder masks, to meet the demands for environmental protection and efficient production.
4. GB/T 13555-2008 “Electroplated Coating for Conductive Patterns on Printed Boards”
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for electroplated coatings of conductive patterns on PCBs, to ensure the conductivity and corrosion resistance of the electroplated coating.
5. GB/T 14539-2008 “Solder Mask Film for Printed Boards”
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for solder mask films, to ensure the insulation performance and stability of solder mask films on PCBs.
6. GB/T 17040-2008 “Electroplated Coating for Metallized Holes on Printed Boards”
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for electroplated coatings of metallized holes on PCBs, to ensure the electrical performance and reliability of metallized holes.
7. GB/T 20234-2006 “Metal Substrates for Printed Circuits”
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for metal substrates for printed circuits, to ensure the quality and performance of PCB substrates.
