The technology of SD cards is developed based on the MultiMedia Card (MMC) format, and they are similar in size to MMC cards, measuring 32mm x 24mm x 2.1mm. The length and width are the same as MMC cards, but they are 0.7mm thicker to accommodate larger storage units.
Now, let’s see how to repair it using DOS commands:
1. First, it should be noted that if your phone indicates that the SD card is damaged, do not format the memory card (the phone prompts that the TF card is damaged and needs formatting).
2. Insert the TF card into a card reader and connect it to the computer via USB. When the computer prompts for formatting, click cancel. Then check the properties.
3. Then tentatively use the tools in the properties, click to start checking, and find that it cannot check for disk errors.
4. At this point, find the Run dialog, or you can quickly open it using the Windows key + R.
5. Then enter chkdsk H:/F in the Run dialog, (H: is your SD card drive letter, /F is the repair parameter).
6. A DOS window will appear, wait for the repair to complete, and the DOS window will close automatically.
7. Once the SD card repair is complete, check the properties of the TF card, and it should show as normal.
8. Then put the memory card back into the phone, and everything should work fine.
