Nordic Semiconductor has launched the nRF54L15, a high-performance, ultra-low power wireless system on chip (SoC) designed for connected devices and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. As part of the nRF54L series (which also includes the nRF54LM20A, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05), the nRF54L15 integrates a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor, an ultra-low power multi-protocol 2.4 GHz wireless RF module, and a rich set of peripherals. The series offers various packaging and memory options, with pin compatibility between QFN packages, providing flexibility for design.
Nordic’s proprietary technologies, such as low leakage RAM and advanced multi-protocol wireless RF design, ensure its ultra-low power consumption, resulting in longer battery life or smaller battery designs.
The nRF54L15 is equipped with 1.5 MB of non-volatile memory (NVM) and 256 KB of RAM, providing larger memory options for demanding applications while being cost-optimized for high-volume production. This SoC can support embedded systems, meeting the needs of complex applications, flexible connectivity, and various peripherals.
