It has been said that this season is the season of marksmen, but there hasn’t been a notable standout among ADCs. In comparison, other positions have a greater impact on the game. So how should ADCs be played in the current meta?
Every Version Has Its Strong Heroes: Choose the Right Ones
After skill adjustments, Kog’Maw has become increasingly powerful in both RANK and competitive play. Meanwhile, the poke-oriented Ezreal also performs well (the poke build is quite versatile). The win rates of ADCs are currently quite close, and their performance is not significantly different; as a faith pick for every ADC player, Vayne struggles to compete with the two aforementioned champions.
However, even the strongest heroes depend on the summoner; they complement each other. With equal skill and awareness, choosing a strong hero in the current meta increases your chances of winning.
Choose Heroes Based on Team Composition
This week’s king of the battle was RNG, where WUXIN used Kog’Maw in a composition that first saw QG ban Lulu, a champion known for her protective abilities. For Kog’Maw and Graves, who both require protection, the top lane and support selected front-line champions for protection. Kog’Maw paired with Braum or Thresh is ideal (providing control to help gain an advantage in lane and the ability to split the battlefield, ensuring a good output environment for Kog’Maw).
PS: The reason Xiaohu chose mid-lane Corki (in my opinion) was that Lulu was banned, and to counter LeBlanc and meet the needs of their composition, he selected Corki to increase the team’s burst potential.
Whether it’s poke or other styles, the current “Blue Love Story” Ezreal is a versatile pick on the field. However, Ezreal’s ability to deal with front-line champions is inferior to other mainstream ADCs, so the team composition should ideally include champions that excel at dealing with front-line threats. Tahm Kench and Poppy both calculate damage based on HP and can serve as stable front-line/control champions.
Mastering Kiting and Last-Hitting to Carry
① Kiting:
Upon careful observation, you will notice that a hero has two distinct actions in a complete attack animation. Taking Renekton as an example, the wind-up action before the attack is called the attack animation, while the action of sheathing the weapon after the attack is called the attack recovery. Kiting involves moving to cancel the recovery, thereby increasing your output. Kiting ensures that you can maintain your attack range while chasing enemies or retreating, maximizing your damage output opportunities.
Thus, ADCs must pay special attention to kiting, unless your opponents are completely oblivious, allowing you to stand still and output perfectly.
② Last-Hitting:
In the recent match between WE and VG, the number of last-hits by the big brother was far ahead, allowing him to reach six items first even while at a disadvantage, thus taking on the core CARRY role for the team. Although they unfortunately lost the match, he performed exceptionally well individually.

Kog’Maw, the Mouth of the Abyss
In version 6.30, Kog’Maw has made a strong comeback, with skill adjustments making him formidable in both laning and skirmishes.
The basic AD runes are the most suitable, and combined with the attack speed bonus from his W skill, he becomes stronger in duels. Since Thunderlord’s Decree is still prevalent, the high magic resistance reduces lane harassment.
Runes
With a built-in slow effect, due to his weak dueling ability early on, take the “Strength of the Weak” mastery; “Warlord’s Bloodlust” is very easy to stack on a hero with high attack speed.
Recommended Items: 
Items that increase attack speed and provide effects will greatly benefit him. The Mercury’s Treads and Bloodthirster are lifesaving items for Kog’Maw, who lacks mobility skills.
Key Points and Tips
① Since he has no mobility, be mindful of your positioning during duels and utilize kiting (when W is activated, it’s best to stand next to your support or protector to ensure optimal output).
② During early lane duels, flexibly use your passive; even if you die, make sure to take someone down with you (kite towards the enemy with low health).
③ Avoid team fights without Blade of the Ruined King and Hurricane if your team is at a disadvantage.
Ezreal, the Prodigal Explorer
The poke build is versatile, performing well in both offense and defense.
Q has a 1.1 total AD ratio, meaning that as long as your attack damage is high, the Q damage can be significantly increased; taking some magic resistance early can reduce damage taken (with Thunderlords everywhere); due to his passive providing attack speed, runes with a small amount of attack speed will allow for perfect last-hitting.
Runes:
Warlord’s Bloodlust greatly enhances his output in team fights/skirmishes.
Items: 
In addition to the core items, Manamune and Iceborn Gauntlet, due to his squishiness, he is quite vulnerable to crowd control. The Mercury’s Treads not only increase damage but also mitigate the threat of being burst down.
Key Points and Tips
① In the early game, while stabilizing your last-hitting, take advantage of the enemy’s attempts to secure last-hits to poke them with Q or auto-attacks (try to minimize Q usage for last-hitting when you don’t have Tear of the Goddess).
② WE can provide attack speed bonuses for both yourself and your teammates (useful when pushing towers).
③ Use your ultimate in enemy vision blind spots for high accuracy.
④ The poke playstyle centered around Iceborn Gauntlet and Manamune emphasizes skill accuracy; Q and R can be manually aimed rather than relying on smart cast.
Although the current version is slightly unfriendly, playing steadily can still lead to carrying the game.
