China’s First! Geely Constellation Completes Phase One Networking, 64 Satellites Weave a Global “Sky Net”

China's First! Geely Constellation Completes Phase One Networking, 64 Satellites Weave a Global "Sky Net"

On September 24, 2025, at 15:56, near the sea area of Rizhao, Shandong, the Jielong-3 rocket roared to life, breaking through the clouds and successfully sending the Geely Constellation 06 group of satellites into the designated orbit with a “single arrow carrying twelve stars”!

This not only marks the conclusion of the first phase of the Geely Constellation network but also signifies the official establishment of China’s first low Earth orbit satellite constellation that has completed networking and possesses large-scale commercial capabilities!🌟

📍One arrow, twelve stars, network successfully completed

The launch carried 12 satellites, including the Geely Constellation 06 group and the Peking University Space-Time Star 01 experimental satellite. The Jielong-3 rocket, developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, has successfully completed its 8th flight mission.

Since August 9, the Jielong-3 has launched three times within a month and a half, successfully sending three groups of satellites into space, completing the “three consecutive launches” with high precision and reliability!

🛰️ 64 satellites, covering the global communication “Sky Net”

As of now, the Geely Constellation has 64 satellites in orbit, all independently developed, constructed, and operated by Space-Time Daoyu. This scale makes the Geely Constellation the second largest low Earth orbit IoT constellation in the world, second only to the US Iridium (66 satellites).

The constellation system currently has:

3.4 billion communication capabilities per day

Support for 20 million global users (including 5 million high-frequency users)

Real-time global communication through inter-satellite links (excluding the poles)

Truly achieving “everything connected, no blind spots globally”🌐

🔗Solving the coverage problem of the IoT, satellite networks show their magic

Oceans, deserts, mountains… areas traditionally difficult to cover with ground networks can now achieve efficient communication through low Earth orbit satellites.

Ocean-going freighters can transmit data in real-time📡, mountain base stations can access the global network, and communication support can be continuously provided during disaster relief. Satellite IoT is becoming a key infrastructure in digital transformation.

🌐Accelerating commercial implementation, already covering over 20 countries

Space-Time Daoyu has built a complete closed loop of “space segment – ground system – application products”, collaborating with companies such as Unicom, Zoomlion, and Geely Automobile in China to promote the implementation of scenarios like “satellite + intelligent networking” and “satellite + marine fisheries”.

Overseas, its business has expanded to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America, reaching cooperation with telecom operators in over 20 countries, making China’s low Earth orbit satellite IoT truly global! 🗺

🇨🇳Historic leap of China’s private aerospace

From the first successful orbital launch of a private rocket by Interstellar Glory in July 2019 to the completion of the Geely Constellation network with global service capabilities today, China’s private aerospace has achieved full industry chain coverage from launch to operation in just six years.

Policy support+capital investment+technological breakthroughs, China’s commercial aerospace is entering a golden age.

The future has arrived, the Sky Net opens a new era of everything connected

With the completion of the constellation network, satellite IoT has truly entered the commercial stage from concept. Fields such as transportation logistics, energy management, and low-altitude economy will undergo comprehensive digital upgrades.

The “smart Sky Net” independently created by Chinese private enterprises is turning the vision of “everything connected” into reality.

In the future, China will play an increasingly important role in the global space economy🚀
