Cybersecurity Awareness Week

From September 15 to 21, 2025, it is the National Cybersecurity Awareness Week. The theme is “Cybersecurity for the People, Cybersecurity by the People”.
The cyberspace has long been deeply integrated into our daily work and life, but its security risks are everywhere. A careless click or a simple password can pose significant risks to both organizations and individuals.
Therefore, Liang Xiaojie has specially prepared this essential cybersecurity guide!
Part.01
🔍Beware! These traps are around you

1
Phishing Emails and Scam Links
“Congratulations, you have won a prize!” “The boss urgently requests a transfer!” “There is an anomaly in your account, please click the link to verify!”
These seemingly familiar emails or messages may very well be the “bait” thrown by criminals.Once you click the link or download the attachment, it may lead to the leakage of personal information or even financial loss.

✅ Protection Tip: Don’t trust easily, don’t click, verify first!
2
Weak Passwords and “One Password for All”
Using simple passwords like “123456” or “password”, or using the same password across all websites is a very dangerous habit. Once one website’s data is leaked, all your accounts are exposed.

✅ Protection Advice: Check your password strength immediately!
Part.02
🛡️Take Action! Be Your Own Security Guard

#1
⭐ Password Security “Three Don’ts” & “Three Dos”
❌ Don’t use simple numbers, birthdays, or names.
❌ Don’t use the same password across all platforms.
❌ Don’t easily share your password with others.
✅ Do use long passwords (recommended to be over 12 characters).
✅ Do use a combination of “letters + numbers + symbols”.
✅ Do consider using a password manager.
#2
⭐ Software Updates “No Delays”
System and regular software security patches are like “vaccines” for vulnerabilities. Timely updates are essential to effectively resist known viruses and hacker attacks.
#3
⭐ Public Wi-Fi “Connect with Caution”
When connecting to free Wi-Fi in public places, avoid online shopping, online banking, or any activities involving sensitive information to prevent information theft.
#4
⭐ Data Backup “Good Habit”
Regularly back up important files! You can use company-approved external hard drives or cloud storage, following the principle of “one data, two backups” to guard against ransomware and data loss risks.

Part.03
🎯 Company Network Security Guidelines

01
Strictly follow the company’s regulations on data security and software installation management.

02
When handling work files, be sure to use the company’s approved intranet or cloud storage, and strictly prohibit the use of personal cloud storage or email to transmit confidential and sensitive files.

03
If any network security anomalies are discovered (such as computer viruses or suspicious emails), immediately disconnect from the network and contact the IT department or relevant technical personnel.

Cybersecurity is no small matter,
and must be remembered at all times. Let us start from ourselves, starting now, to jointly protect a clear cyberspace!
