Three PCB giants in Zhuhai face bankruptcy crisis on the same day! The industry reshuffle storm has arrived
1. Thunder Strikes! Three PCB Veterans Suddenly Fall into Bankruptcy
On September 3, an announcement from the Zhuhai Intermediate Court was like a bombshell, causing a stir in the electronics industry! Zhuhai Tongchuangxing, Dingxie Electronics, and Hengxiang Electronics, three well-established companies in the PCB field for over a decade, were simultaneously pushed to the forefront of bankruptcy review, instantly shaking the entire industry!

As veterans in the PCB sector, these three companies once had their moments of glory. Established in 2010, Tongchuangxing held core products such as FPC flexible boards and metal-based circuit boards, with business covering high-end fields like aviation, medical, and military equipment, making it a versatile player in the industry; Dingxie Electronics, founded in 2012, assembled a senior R&D team of over twenty people, achieving a design capacity of 10,000 square meters/month, and once thrived in the fields of multilayer boards and rigid-flex boards; Hengxiang Electronics, also starting in 2010, has been a significant force in the PCB and FPC fields for over a decade. Now, all three companies have collectively “failed,” their past glory vanished, and this sudden bankruptcy crisis has sent a dangerous signal throughout the PCB industry!
2. Life-and-Death Race! Small and Medium PCB Enterprises Struggle for Survival
The downfall of these three companies is no coincidence but rather an inevitable result of the brutal competition in the PCB industry! The current PCB market has already entered a white-hot stage of “life-and-death racing,” where small and medium-sized manufacturers are trapped in a “double strangulation” predicament, with their survival space squeezed to near suffocation!
On one side is the “life-and-death test” of technological iteration. Emerging industries like 5G, new energy vehicles, and artificial intelligence are advancing rapidly, imposing unprecedented high demands on PCB performance, precision, and reliability, with the speed of technological updates overwhelming. However, many small and medium manufacturers face tight R&D budgets, severely lagging in technological updates, unable to keep pace with market demands, and helplessly watching orders slip away, gradually being abandoned by the market; on the other side is the “fatal blow” of soaring costs. Raw material prices fluctuate dramatically like a roller coaster, and labor costs rise year by year. Under this dual pressure, profit margins for companies are compressed to the extreme, leading many manufacturers into a vicious cycle of “production equals loss.” Meanwhile, leading companies, leveraging their financial, technological, and scale advantages, continuously seize market share, forming a “Matthew effect” where the strong get stronger and the weak get weaker, leaving small manufacturers powerless in this competition, struggling to survive in the cracks, ultimately unable to escape the fate of elimination!
3. Storm Escalates! The PCB Industry Enters a Major Reshuffle Era
The bankruptcy crisis of the three Zhuhai PCB companies is undoubtedly a “strong signal” of the accelerated reshuffle in the PCB industry, marking the beginning of a sweeping transformation across the entire industry, and the future landscape may be completely rewritten!
The impact of this event has already exceeded the companies themselves, triggering a domino effect. For employees, the risk of unemployment looms, plunging their lives into uncertainty; for upstream and downstream suppliers and customers, cooperative relationships are forced to break, disrupting supply chain stability. However, behind the crisis also lies an opportunity for industry transformation. As small manufacturers gradually exit, industry resources will accelerate towards leading companies, pushing the PCB industry towards a more concentrated, high-end, and intelligent direction, with inefficient capacities being eliminated, and the overall competitiveness of the industry expected to improve.
Currently, the three bankruptcy review cases are still under trial, and the final results remain unknown. But it is certain that this reshuffle storm in the PCB industry will not cease, and more companies will face challenges in the future. The fate of these three Zhuhai companies may just be the beginning of a significant transformation in the industry, and how the national PCB industry landscape will be reshaped remains to be seen!
