Embedded Renovation for Childcare
Ensuring Growth and Peace of Mind for Parents
The issue of childcare after school and during holidays is a concern for many parents. To address this livelihood need, the community has embedded a childcare center on the first floor of the party service center, alleviating parents’ worries.
To create a warm and comfortable environment for children, the community has allocated 280 square meters of space, adding children’s books to the existing library, covering various categories such as picture books, popular science literature, and classic novels to meet the reading needs of children of different ages; a “4:30 Classroom” has been established, equipped with desks and chairs to create a comfortable learning space; a children’s activity room has been set up, divided into areas for intellectual games, artistic creation, and physical activities, allowing children to play freely. Since its opening, the childcare center has quickly become the most popular place in the community.
Embedded Renovation for Elderly Care
Bringing Warmth to the “Golden Years” of Happiness
To address the issues of elderly residents with limited mobility and busy children unable to provide care, the community has relied on the party service center to carry out embedded renovations for elderly care, setting up 46 care beds and extending services to residents’ doorsteps. Multiple functional areas have been established to meet the needs of elderly residents for daytime care, dining, and entertainment. Additionally, handrails have been installed, non-slip materials have been used for the flooring, and emergency call buttons and barrier-free facilities have been set up in the bathrooms, with careful adjustments made to the height of tables and chairs to facilitate the elderly in getting up and sitting down… Every detail reflects meticulous care for the elderly.
Embedded Renovation for Leisure and Fitness
Integrating Vitality into Daily Life
Wenmiao Square, located in Wenmiao Alley, was once a somewhat chaotic area of about 800 square meters with outdated facilities and uneven ground, resulting in low space utilization. The community has taken the lead in transforming this area into an outdoor leisure and fitness zone, effectively utilizing existing resources while fully responding to the call for national fitness, meeting residents’ needs for nearby exercise.
The square has added 8 sets of leisure fitness equipment, including pull-up bars and dip bars suitable for young people, as well as Tai Chi pushers and waist-twisting machines suitable for the elderly, catering to the fitness needs of residents of different ages; 20 sets of leisure chairs have been refurbished, repainted, and new cushions added, allowing residents to play chess and rest, enhancing communication and interaction among neighbors; 2 badminton courts have been newly established, where residents can often be seen honing their skills, filling the square with laughter and joy. The renovated Wenmiao Square has been completely transformed, becoming a great place for community residents to relax and entertain.
In the next step, the Wenmiao Community in Wenmiao Street will continue to adhere to a resident-centered approach, integrate various resources, enhance service capabilities, and create a more beautiful, comfortable, and safe living environment for residents, writing a new chapter in community development.
