To fully leverage the exemplary role of advanced models and inspire faculty and students in the college to excel in ideological construction, organizational innovation, and scientific research, in November 2025, the School of Electronics and Internet of Things (Integrated Circuit School) launched the 2025 ‘Red Rock Pioneer’ selection activity. This event closely aligns with the theme of ‘Inheriting the Red Rock Spirit, Deepening Curriculum Ideology, and Empowering Academic Integrity’, integrating the selection work with academic integrity construction, covering all enrolled students, various levels of youth organizations, volunteer service teams, and scientific research groups, achieving significant results.

Overview of the Activity
This selection activity focuses on four categories: exemplary individuals of the Red Rock Pioneer, exemplary youth organizations, exemplary volunteer service teams, and exemplary scientific research groups. It clarifies the evaluation criteria and material requirements for each category. After the launch of the activity, faculty and students actively responded, with numerous individuals, research groups, and youth branches enthusiastically participating, carefully preparing and submitting detailed evaluation materials. The materials cover various aspects such as proof of ideals and beliefs, activity records, and achievement displays, comprehensively showcasing the proactive contributions of each applicant in ideological guidance, organizational construction, volunteer service, and scientific research, laying a solid foundation for the smooth advancement of the selection work.

Core Achievements of the Activity
(1) Dual Strengthening of Ideological Guidance and Academic Integrity Foundation
Centered on the Red Rock Spirit and curriculum ideology, applicants deepened theoretical learning through themed youth days, youth training programs, and red-themed research activities. Individuals wrote ideological reflections related to their majors, and youth organizations fostered a positive cultural atmosphere, significantly enhancing students’ ideals and beliefs, making the academic integrity foundation more pronounced, and solidifying ideological support for academic and practical endeavors.

(2) Simultaneous Enhancement of Organizational Construction and Academic Integrity
Organizations at all levels implemented standardized management based on selection criteria: youth organizations carried out ‘three meetings, two systems, and one class’, integrating academic support and other academic integrity initiatives; volunteer service teams practiced the concept of dedication through service; scientific research groups focused on research within their disciplines. The vitality and cohesion of the organizations were enhanced, creating an atmosphere of ‘practical action’, effectively consolidating the collective effort in academic integrity construction.

(3) Mutual Empowerment of Scientific Research Practice and Academic Integrity
Scientific research groups relied on standardized research processes to achieve synergy between research, competitions, and industry research; outstanding results were incorporated into the curriculum ideology resource library. Volunteer services combined with professional practice to promote the transformation of knowledge into service capabilities. The deep integration of scientific research and practice injected innovative vitality into academic integrity, supporting the cultivation of a ‘diligent, thoughtful, innovative, and enterprising’ academic atmosphere.
(4) Continuous Optimization of Exemplary Models and Academic Atmosphere
The selection process unearthed advanced models, sharing experiences to convey academic methods, research skills, and organizational management experiences, stimulating a ‘learning from each other’ awareness throughout the college, encouraging more students to actively participate in learning, practice, and scientific research activities, further optimizing the overall academic environment of the School of Electronics and Internet of Things (Integrated Circuit School).

Summary and Outlook
This ‘Red Rock Pioneer’ series of advanced model selection activities, guided by the Red Rock Spirit and carried out through curriculum ideology, not only completed the excavation and selection of advanced models but also achieved a deep integration of ideological guidance, organizational construction, scientific research practice, and academic integrity construction. Throughout the activity, faculty and students showed high enthusiasm, and the various applicants demonstrated firm beliefs, solid knowledge, service awareness, and innovative capabilities, fully reflecting the educational effectiveness of the activity.
In the future, the School of Electronics and Internet of Things (Integrated Circuit School) will further leverage the exemplary role of advanced models, closely integrating the results of the selection with daily teaching, student management, and academic integrity construction, continuously deepening the integration of the Red Rock Spirit and curriculum ideology, and fostering a strong academic atmosphere of ‘firm beliefs, diligent learning, thoughtful reflection, practical action, and innovative progress’, providing strong support for cultivating high-quality talents.
