To ensure the efficient and orderly development of the association’s work, the Internet of Things Association held a meeting on association affairs and departmental work exchange on November 24, 2025, at 12:10 PM in E306.
This meeting focused on the core affairs of the association, optimizing the operation process of the “Story Classroom,” clarifying the responsibilities and follow-up arrangements of each department, and establishing a collaboration mechanism between departments.
1. New Developments in the Story Classroom
①Course Enhancement: The teaching frequency has been increased from once every two weeks to once a week, with separate classes for freshmen and sophomores to make the teaching content more targeted.
②Strengthened Faculty: Senior students from the technical department and competition group will teach foundational practical content such as C language; subject teachers will be invited to explain professional knowledge in depth, ensuring cutting-edge content.
The classroom experience has been comprehensively optimized to ensure that every student gains from their learning.
2. Standardization of the Story Classroom Process

Promotional Announcement
The administrative department will create exquisite posters containing time, location, speaker, theme, etc., which will undergo multiple reviews to ensure the accuracy of the information.

Classroom Records
Dedicated personnel will take multi-angle (close-up + panoramic) photos and records on-site, ensuring that no exciting moments are missed.

Attendance Management
Using an attendance mini-program, attendance is limited to half an hour after class, making it convenient and efficient for scoring.
3. Work Arrangements for Each Department
Publicity Department:Recorders and disseminators of events. Responsible for photography, writing articles, scoring statistics, and meeting minutes.
Technical Department:The technical engine of the team. Responsible for technical learning, competition mobilization, and providing technical support for classes and publicity.
Administrative Department:The backbone of the activities. Responsible for posters, attendance, records, and other support work.
Administrative Department:The manager of the team. Responsible for planning, attendance, finance, etc., ensuring the daily operation of the association.
4. Recent Summary and Future Arrangements
Publicity Department: Has completed the collection and organization of information from previous activities, and will focus on following up with photography, recording, and article publishing for the Story Classroom to ensure timely publicity of events.
Technical Department: Has preliminarily understood the technical foundation of members, and will develop detailed learning objectives and competition encouragement policies, fully cooperating with the arrangement of instructors for the Story Classroom.
Administrative Department: Has familiarized itself with the activity support process, and will focus on improving the quality of poster production and classroom records, ensuring that attendance, photography, and other aspects are flawless.
Administrative Department: Basic functional work is proceeding in an orderly manner, and will further improve activity planning and attendance finance processes to provide solid support for the operation of the association.
5. Speech by Teacher Yuan Haoxin
Teacher Yuan Haoxin first fully affirmed the development of team building, and then provided comments and suggestions regarding last week’s Story Classroom, pointing out directions for the future development of the Story Classroom.
Teacher Yuan affirmed the positive attempts to upgrade the Story Classroom, while also pointing out issues such as insufficient interaction and the need for better pacing in the content during the first class taught by the head of the technical department, which led to the classroom effect not meeting expectations.
Teacher Yuan emphasized that courses need to be “refined and practical,” eliminating “water courses” to ensure that students gain knowledge, and strengthening interaction and practice to enhance the experience.Responsibilities for each link, including announcements, attendance, teaching, and publicity, should be clearly defined to promote the iterative upgrade of the Story Classroom.
6. Summary and Expectations
Every review is aimed at more stable progress. Thanks to Teacher Yuan Haoxin for his careful guidance and the full cooperation of all department heads. In the future, the association will carry forward the clear division of responsibilities and collaboration mechanisms established in the meeting, keeping in mind the concept of “refined and practical,” optimizing classroom interaction and practical experience, and ensuring that everyone plays their role while closely cooperating in technical learning and activity development, together making the association a better platform for Internet of Things communication. We look forward to sharing our passion and creating brilliance together in future activities and classrooms!
