In response to the national strategy for promoting the development of the human-robot industry and accelerating the construction of a high-quality professional teaching team in the province, under the guidance of the Hubei Artificial Intelligence Society and the Donghu High-tech Zone Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, the “First Human-Robot Teacher Training in Hubei Province” was successfully held from November 29 to 30, co-hosted by the Hubei Human-Robot Innovation Center and the Hubei Human-Robot Industry Alliance, with support from the National Digital Design and Manufacturing Innovation Center, GuYueJu Embodied Intelligence Community, and Leju Intelligent (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. This training attracted 70 teachers from 26 universities across the province, demonstrating the high attention and enthusiasm of the education sector towards this cutting-edge field.
This training, as the first systematic teacher training activity in this field in Hubei Province, received a warm response since the registration opened. Within just two days, all 70 spots were filled, fully confirming the urgent need of universities to establish human-robot disciplines and cultivate talents in cutting-edge technology.
The training focused on the core technologies and development trends of the human-robot industry, aiming to bridge the “last mile” between cutting-edge technology and classroom teaching. During the intensive one-and-a-half-day workshop, the course content covered core technology modules of human-robots, practical exercises, and discussions on teaching methods, striving to provide participating teachers with a high starting point and a practical learning and exchange platform, helping them become professional guides who understand technology, excel in teaching, and can innovate.

Mr. Liu Chuanhou, Chief Operating Officer of the Hubei Human-Robot Innovation Center, stated that human-robots are a strategic high ground in technological competition and a key engine for future industries. Ultimately, all technological breakthroughs and industrial blueprints rely on talent, which is rooted in education. Teachers are the “igniters” who sow the seeds of innovation, and this training is a key part of the center’s construction of a “technology research and development – achievement transformation – industry incubation – talent cultivation” ecosystem. In the future, the center will continue to leverage its platform advantages and work with universities to solidify the talent foundation in the field of human-robots in Hubei Province.
