The Boto software prompts that the PLC does not execute after downloading the program, which may be due to the following reasons:
– Program Compilation Errors: There are syntax errors, logical errors, or unresolved symbol references in the program, which prevent it from being downloaded or executed correctly. A comprehensive compilation of the program is required, and modifications should be made based on the error messages.
– IP Address and Network Issues: If the IP addresses of the computer and PLC are not in the same subnet, the subnet mask settings are inconsistent, or there are network connection failures or damaged cables, the download will fail. Ensure that both IP addresses are in the same subnet, the subnet masks are the same, and check the network connection and cables.
– Hardware Configuration Mismatch: If the configured PLC hardware model, order number, and version do not match the actual hardware, or if there are unrecognized hardware modules, the download will not execute. Carefully verify the hardware configuration against the actual hardware, update the hardware directory, or install the correct GSD files.
– Access Permissions and Security Settings Issues: If the PLC has set access passwords or permission restrictions, or if the computer’s firewall or security software blocks communication between the Boto software and the PLC, this can cause issues. Check the PLC’s access permission settings and temporarily disable the computer’s firewall and related security software.
– Software or Driver Issues: If the version of the Boto software is too low or corrupted, or if the communication driver for the PLC is not installed or outdated, this may affect the download. Update the Boto software to the latest version and install or update the communication drivers.
