Prepare Your Tire Pressure Sensors for the Coming Cold Weather

It is certain that the temperature will drop; have you stocked up on tire pressure sensors?

The batteries used in tire pressure sensors are almost identical to those used in car remote controls, both being 3V button batteries.

These types of batteries have a lifespan, and their performance deteriorates in low temperatures. At around 20°C, even if the battery is weak, it may still function for a while. However, once the temperature approaches 0°C, those weak batteries will stop displaying readings altogether.

This is also a reason why tire pressure sensors tend to fail more often in winter; fundamentally, it is due to the batteries reaching the end of their lifespan.
