Understanding the Software
Multisim is a Windows-based simulation tool launched by National Instruments (NI) for the design of board-level analog/digital circuits. It includes graphical input for circuit schematics and hardware description language input methods, with rich simulation analysis capabilities. Through Multisim and virtual instrument technology, PCB design engineers and electronics educators can complete a comprehensive design process from theory to schematic capture, simulation, and prototype design and testing.

Installation Guide
1. After downloading the software, extract it.
2. Double-click to open the extracted software folder.
3. Double-click to run “NI_Circuit_Design_Suite_12.0”.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Unzip.
6. Click OK.
7. Click “Install NI Circuit Design Suite 12.0”.
8. In the previously extracted folder, find and select keygenfull, right-click and choose “Run as Administrator”.
9. Click Generate and then click Copy.
10. Fill in Full Name and Organization as you like, paste the serial number in the Serial Number field (shortcut Ctrl+V), and click Next.
11. Click Browse… to change the installation path, it is recommended to install on a disk other than C: and click Next.
12. Click Next.
13. Click Next.
14. Click Next.
15. Select I accept the above 3 License Agreement, and click “Next”.
16. Click Next.
17. Installation in progress.
18. Click Next.
Click No.
19. Click Restart Later.
20. In NI_Circuit_Design_Suite_12.0, click Create license file… (if closed, run keygenfull.exe as administrator again).
21. In the pop-up dialog, first find the Multisim 12.0 installation package directory, enter the key, and click “Save” (it can be saved anywhere as long as you can find it, the path cannot contain Chinese characters).
22. Click OK.
23. Select Ultiboard Power Pro Edition, click “Create license file…”.
24. In the pop-up dialog, enter key1, and click “Save”.
25. Click OK.
26. In the Start menu, click NI License Manager.
27. If a confirmation pop-up appears, click OK; if not, ignore it. Drag the generated key and key1 files into the NI License Manager.
28. Click Yes; if another pop-up appears, click OK.
29. Go back to the previously extracted software installation package and copy the Chinese-simplified folder.
30. In the software installation directory (the path set in step 11), open 【Circuit Design Suite 12.0】–>【stringfiles】, and paste the copied folder into this directory.
31. In the Start menu, open “UItiboard 12.0”.
32. Software installation is complete.
33. Open Multisim 12.0 in the Start menu.
34. Software installation is complete.
