According to a report from tech media GizmoChina, MediaTek has launched the Dimensity 7360 processor, featuring an octa-core design that supports 5G, AI, and 200-megapixel CMOS capabilities, targeting the mid-range market.

This processor features four 2.5GHz Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores, paired with four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, which is not significantly different from other processors in the mid-range segment. However, this chip includes Game Adaptive Technology (MAGT) 3.0, which can balance graphics quality and performance while controlling power consumption, providing a smoother gaming experience.
MediaTek claims that this chip offers up to a 20% improvement in frame rate and energy efficiency compared to competitors, integrating the Imagiq 950 ISP (Image Signal Processor) that supports up to 200-megapixel CMOS sensors, with features like real-time HDR video recording, motion compensation noise reduction, and enhanced real-time background blurring. Its HDR video dynamic range is said to be over 50% higher than that of competitors.
This chip also integrates the MiraVision 955 display unit, supporting 10-bit color depth for WFHD (2560*1080) screens, and supports 3-carrier aggregation 5G, VoNR, Wi-Fi 6E, low-power Bluetooth, dual-link stereo, and is equipped with a 655 NPU (Neural Processing Unit), compatible with LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 memory, and supports UFS 3.1 storage.
