During the storage of tobacco leaves, the temperature and humidity are easily affected by changes in the environmental temperature and humidity. If there is an imbalance in temperature and humidity, it may lead to moisture absorption or even mold growth in the tobacco leaves.
To ensure stability and safety during the storage of tobacco leaves, it is essential to monitor the temperature and humidity.
The multi-point tobacco leaf temperature and humidity monitoring system developed by our company, based on LORA wireless communication, utilizes a distributed sensor network to monitor the temperature and humidity of all tobacco leaves in the storage workshop through multi-node coverage. Users can remotely supervise the temperature and humidity of the tobacco leaves through terminal devices such as mobile phones, tablets, or computers, achieving precise control.

1
The system adopts an embedded installation method, first inserting multiple single-point wireless temperature and humidity detection rods XKCON-W-TH01 into the tobacco leaves for information collection, and then remotely transmitting the monitoring data to the wireless gateway XKCON-WG41 via LoRa wireless signals.
2
The wireless gateway XKCON-WG41 is primarily responsible for processing and transmitting all data sent by the wireless detection rods. It first digitizes all collected data and then communicates with the supervision platform via RS485 or Ethernet wired connections, facilitating data transmission.
3
The management platform of the system serves as the storage and processing center for all temperature and humidity detection data of the tobacco leaves. Through a visual interface, users can intuitively view the real-time temperature and humidity data and trends of all wireless detection rods; with just a click of the mouse, remote online supervision of all tobacco leaves’ temperature and humidity can be achieved.
4
The system employs data analysis technology to monitor the temperature changes of the wireless detection rods. When abnormal temperature and humidity conditions occur, the system can quickly issue alerts: notifying relevant personnel via SMS, email, etc., while intelligently linking ventilation, dehumidification, and other environmental control systems for precise regulation, helping users to respond intelligently and promptly.
5
Utilizing big data technology, the historical data of tobacco leaf temperature and humidity monitoring is stored and analyzed, helping users discover patterns in the temperature and humidity changes during the storage period, such as the frequency of abnormal temperature and humidity occurrences during certain time periods. Through in-depth analysis, users can make targeted adjustments.
The XKCON multi-point tobacco leaf temperature and humidity monitoring system, based on LORA wireless communication technology, eliminates the need for complex wiring, shortens construction time, and saves costs. The system can be flexibly configured according to the actual layout and needs of the tobacco factory, achieving the collection and reception of measurement signals from each single-point wireless temperature and humidity detection rod, significantly enhancing the system’s monitoring and control capabilities, ensuring that the temperature and humidity of the tobacco leaves remain within standard ranges during storage.
