Excited yet apprehensive, I opened my newly battery-replaced Redmi Bluetooth headphones when I got home tonight. To say I was anxious is an understatement; I even recorded an unboxing video for it. After listening to music for nearly 10 minutes, I couldn’t contain my excitement—there was actually 99% or even 100% battery left (it was still at 96%-97% after nearly 20 minutes). What a surprise! Had I known that replacing the battery would be this effective, I wouldn’t have bothered buying new headphones. Previously, I had a long back-and-forth with the seller over a second-hand pair I bought, and I even considered recycling my old headphones several times, but in the end, I couldn’t bear to do it because the recycling price was too low. The feeling of using the headphones to listen to music tonight was just fantastic; my mood soared. My first Bluetooth headphones, the REDMI Buds 4 Pro, have come back to life after the battery replacement—it’s truly amazing!
Tonight, I got home late because I was attending a company ER training. As soon as I got home, my younger brother was clamoring to find me. I hurried over to give him a deep kiss and said goodnight, and he smiled back and said goodbye—so adorable!
Speaking of the training, it was led by the chief physician from Hangzhou Seventh Hospital. Starting from international papers and national policies, the tone was set quite high. Initially, it felt a bit disconnected, but as the teacher dissected the content layer by layer, providing examples and self-deprecating humor, I was almost completely focused throughout. The more I listened, the more engaged I became, especially with the methodology and practical suggestions—it was fantastic. Kudos to the “warm-hearted doctors”!
Today is Thanksgiving, and I am grateful for this moment, grateful for everyone around me, and grateful for accepting my complete self!
Finally, I want to record a beautiful moment from today: this morning, as my eldest son was about to reach the school gate, he let go of my hand and gently said goodbye, “Daddy, bye-bye” 👋. I suddenly felt a bit of loss but also a bit of surprise—my child is growing up!
