To increase opportunities for young people to participate in technology experience activities, broaden their scientific practice horizons, popularize cutting-edge technology knowledge, and create a good atmosphere of ‘learning science, loving science, and applying science’, on the morning of September 18, 40 children from Jinan Lishan Bilingual Primary School entered the world of the Internet of Things, embarking on a technological journey to explore the IoT world and personally experience the charm of technology changing lives.
Accompanied by the Secretary of the Board, Deng Yuanshuo, and with professional explanations, the students visited the company’s technology achievement display area. Through an immersive exhibition experience, everyone systematically learned about the company’s development journey from startup to industry benchmark, including the founder’s story, milestone events, and innovative products such as self-developed IoT communication modules and smart terminal devices. Deng Yuanshuo highlighted the company’s flagship product—the modular edge IoT controller—and vividly illustrated how technology empowers industrial upgrades by combining it with practical application cases in smart cities and industrial internet. The students not only intuitively felt the practical value of IoT technology but also deeply understood the growth logic of a technology company from technological accumulation to ecological layout.
During the visit, the children’s faces were filled with curiosity and excitement as they actively interacted with ‘Teacher Deng’, gradually unraveling their doubts about IoT technology through a question-and-answer format, which sparked a strong interest in scientific exploration.
Subsequently, product manager Wen Peisong led everyone to observe the deployment and application principles of IoT terminal products in a real environment. Through close contact and scenario-based learning, the understanding of how IoT connects the real and digital worlds was further deepened.
“Exploring the Internet of Things, Igniting Technological Dreams”—this event cleverly combined scientific, educational, and entertaining elements, leading the children on an immersive scientific exploration journey. Through interactive experiences, practical observations, and expert explanations, the children not only felt the charm of technology up close but also subtly cultivated their observation skills, logical thinking, and innovative awareness. This unique outdoor science popularization practice class was like a seed of science, quietly sown in the hearts of the children, igniting their curiosity and enthusiasm for exploration of the unknown, and illuminating their path towards future technological innovation dreams.
