Ultrasonic Sensors
The Autonics ultrasonic sensor detects and measures the distance to objects by emitting and receiving high-frequency sound waves and measuring the time interval between them.

Product Introduction
UTR Series
The UTR series cylindrical ultrasonic sensors can detect and measure the distance to objects by emitting and receiving high-frequency sound waves and measuring the time interval between them. The ultrasonic sensing method can detect various materials and surface types, with a maximum detection distance of up to 8 meters.
Detection of Various Materials and Surface Types
The UTR series can detect various materials, including transparent or metallic objects, powders, or liquids, regardless of the surface’s color, pattern, texture, or gloss. Ultrasonic sensors can also be used to measure the distance to target objects.

Detection of Uneven Surfaces
Precise Detection, Accurate Measurement
Ultrasonic waves are sensitive to air temperature, as they use air as a medium. The UTR series features a temperature tracking algorithm that enables stable and accurate detection, providing precise measurements by eliminating interference.

※The temperature tracking algorithm estimates the surrounding external temperature using an internal temperature sensor, providing stable detection even with changes in environmental temperature.
Long Detection Distance of Up to 8m
The UTR series can detect objects up to 8m away and can be used in challenging environments such as high temperatures.

Various Functions for Ideal Detection
The UTR series offers multiple functions for optimizing detection, including detection width conversion, temperature compensation, and measurement filtering. Users can set functions using the atDistance software, and the UT-P ultrasonic sensor programming unit provides various functionalities.(Functions may vary by model)

Detection Width Conversion Function
Users can set the detection width to narrow, medium, or wide based on the detection environment.

Teaching Function
Users can set parameters and functions with the current distance value using the teaching function.

Measurement Filtering Function
Users can avoid unnecessary measurements using foreground filters, moving average filters, foreground + moving average filters, and background + moving average filters. The strength of each filter can be adjusted according to user requirements.

Foreground Suppression Function
Users can expand the area to cancel output.

Temperature Compensation (Automatic/Manual)
Users can minimize the error of actual measurement values under different environments.

Synchronization Function
Users can increase the detection width by using multiple sensors simultaneously to measure a wider area. (Up to 10 sensors)

Multiplexing Function
Users can prevent mutual interference between multiple sensors and specify the order between each sensor. (Up to 10 sensors)
Stainless Steel 316L Body
The stainless steel 316L body provides high corrosion resistance, making it suitable for various industries such as food/beverage and pharmaceuticals.

Ring Indicator Light and Display
The UTR series features a 360˚ ring indicator light that can be confirmed from any direction.
Models with displays show the current value and parameter settings, making it convenient for users.

Ultrasonic Sensor Programming Unit (Sold Separately)
Users can monitor the current value in real-time through the display of the ultrasonic sensor programming unit (UT-P). Some functions can be easily set using buttons.

IO-Link Communication
IO-Link models allow users to check the sensor status for easier maintenance.

Dedicated Software (atDistance)
atDistance is a dedicated software for setting and configuring ultrasonic sensor parameters and monitoring information. The software features an intuitive graphical user interface for easy setup and maintenance.

IP66, IP67, IP68, IP69K Protection Ratings
The IP66, IP67, IP68, and IP69K protection ratings allow the product to be safely applied in environments with dust, water, washing, and spraying. (May vary by model)

Detection of Transparent Objects (Glass and Transparent Plastic)
Ultrasonic sensors are used to check the installation of sunroofs during the automotive manufacturing process.
Measuring Tank Levels
Ultrasonic sensors are used to measure the level of powder or liquid in food storage tanks.
