As a leader in the chip programming industry, ACROVIEW Technology recently announced the latest update to its programming software and released a list of newly supported chip models. In this update, Texas Instruments (TI)’s 32-bit microcontroller CC2340R52N0RGER has been added to the list of supported devices by the ACROVIEW programmer AP8000.
The CC2340R52N0RGER is a 2.4GHz wireless microcontroller designed for low-power Bluetooth® 5.3, Zigbee, Thread, and proprietary 2.4GHz applications. These devices are optimized for low-power wireless communication and support Over-the-Air Download (OAD) functionality, making them suitable for building automation (wireless sensors, lighting control, beacons), asset tracking, medical, retail EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale), ESL (Electronic Shelf Labels), and personal electronics (toys, HID, styluses) markets.
The CC2340R52N0RGER is part of the SimpleLink™ MCU platform, which includes Wi-Fi, low-power Bluetooth, Thread, Zigbee, Sub-1GHz MCUs, and host MCUs, all sharing a common, user-friendly development environment that includes a single-core Software Development Kit (SDK) and a rich toolset. With the integrated SimpleLink™ platform, any device from the product family can be added to your design, achieving 100% code reuse when design requirements change.
ACROVIEW is an officially recommended third-party programming partner of Texas Instruments (TI), and the AP8000 can program the entire range of TI chips. In particular, the C2000 series has been specifically designed to meet the programming requirements of the C2000 series, enhancing programming stability and chip ESD protection, making it the best production programming device for C2000 series DSPs.

The ACROVIEW self-developed universal programmer AP8000 (one-to-one online/offline programming), (one-to-eight online/offline programming), and eMMC programming, UFS programming support all chip models in this series for bare chip (offline) programming and on-board programming. The AP8000 universal programmer consists of three main parts: host, baseboard, and adapter. Additionally, the AP8000 serves as a universal programming platform in the industry, supporting the programming of all programmable chips available on the market, and is also the core programming platform for ACROVIEW’s automated batch programming machine IPS5800S.
The host supports both USB and NET connections, enabling networking of multiple programmers to synchronize control of multiple programmers for programming operations. The built-in safety protection circuit can instantly detect abnormal situations such as reversed chip placement or short circuits and immediately cut off power, ensuring the safety of both the chip and the programmer. The host integrates a high-speed FPGA, significantly enhancing data transmission and processing speed. The back of the host is equipped with an SD card slot, allowing users to save project files generated by PC software to the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the slot. By using the button on the programmer, users can select, load, and execute programming commands without relying on a PC, which not only reduces the cost of PC hardware configuration but also facilitates the rapid construction of the working environment.
The AP8000 enhances the host’s expandability through the baseboard and adapter board, currently supporting all mainstream semiconductor manufacturers’ devices, including Silan, QUECTEL, BEKEN, CHIPONE, ESPRESSIF, etc. Supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and support for file formats including Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, etc.
