ACROVIEW, a leader in chip programming technology, recently announced the latest iteration of its programming software, along with a series of newly compatible chip models. In this update, the high-performance neural network smart voice chip CI1302 developed by ChipinTelli is now supported by the AP8000 programming tool.

CI1302 is a next-generation high-performance neural network smart voice chip developed by ChipinTelli, integrating ChipinTelli’s self-developed Brain Neural Network Processor (BNPU V3) and CPU core, with a system clock frequency of up to 220MHz, built-in SRAM of up to 640KBytes, integrated PMU power management unit, and RC oscillator. It also includes a dual-channel high-performance low-power Audio Codec and multiple peripheral control interfaces such as UART, IIC, IIS, PWM, GPIO, and PDM. The chip requires only a few external resistors and capacitors to implement various smart voice product hardware solutions, offering excellent cost performance.
CI1302 uses industrial-grade design standards, providing high environmental reliability, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, meeting MSL3 moisture sensitivity level, IEC61000-4-2 4KV contact discharge test standards, FCC electromagnetic compatibility standards, and ROHS and REACH environmental standards.
CI1302 employs ChipinTelli’s third-generation BNPU technology, which supports DNN, TDNN, RNN, CNN, and parallel vector operations, enabling functions such as speech recognition, voiceprint recognition, command word self-learning, voice detection, and deep learning noise reduction, with strong echo cancellation and environmental noise suppression capabilities. This chip solution also supports multiple global languages including Chinese, English, and Japanese, and can be widely applied in home appliances, lighting, toys, wearable devices, industrial applications, automotive products, etc., enabling voice interaction and control as well as various smart voice application solutions. Due to the Flash capacity, if voiceprint recognition is supported, speech recognition will not be supported.

Functional Block Diagram
ACROVIEW’s self-developed AP8000 universal programmer supports both online/offline versions with one-to-one and one-to-eight configurations, as well as dedicated programming solutions for eMMC and UFS, fully covering the bare chip (offline) and on-board programming needs for all chip models in ChipinTelli’s series. The AP8000 consists of three core components: the host, the baseboard, and the adapter. As a universal programming platform in the industry, the AP8000 not only supports programming for all types of programmable chips on the market but also serves as the core programming platform for ACROVIEW’s automated secure programming device IPS5800S, efficiently executing large-scale programming tasks.
The host also supports USB and NET connections, enabling networking of multiple programmers to synchronize control multiple programmers for programming operations. The built-in safety protection circuit can instantly detect abnormal situations such as reversed chip placement or short circuits, and immediately cut off power to ensure the safety of the chip and programmer. The host integrates a high-speed FPGA, significantly improving data transmission and processing speed. The back of the host features an SD card slot, allowing users to save project files generated by PC software to the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the slot. By using the button on the programmer, users can select, load, and execute programming instructions without relying on a PC, which not only reduces the hardware configuration cost of the PC but also facilitates the rapid construction of the working environment.
The AP8000 enhances the host’s expansion capabilities through the combination design of the baseboard and adapter, currently supporting products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including Infineon, ST, NXP, MPS, MICROCHIP, etc. The supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and it is compatible with various file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, etc.
