ACROVIEW Programmer Supports Nuvoton's Low Voltage Microcontroller M031TD2AE

ACROVIEW, a leader in chip programming, recently announced the latest iteration of its programming software, unveiling a series of newly compatible chip models. In this update, Nuvoton’s low voltage microcontroller M031TD2AE has been supported by the ACROVIEW AP8000 offline programmer.

The M031TD2AE is a low voltage microcontroller based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0 core, featuring a 32-bit hardware multiplier/divider. It operates at a frequency of up to 48MHz, with a voltage range of 1.8~3.6V, and is equipped with 64KB Flash and 8KB SRAM.

With its specially designed performance features such as a 2MSPS ADC, 96MHz PWM, 24MHz SPI, and 6MHz UART, it can be applied in industrial control and consumer applications, allowing for rapid and precise conversion of voltage, current, and sensor data, as well as quick response and control of external modules, such as current or voltage feedback from motor control or sensing devices.

The M031TD2AE also offers a wide range of peripherals, including 1 set of Universal Serial Control Interface (USCI), 3 sets of UART, 1 set of SPI/I²S, 2 sets of I²C, 10 channels of 12-bit ADC, and 12 channels of 16-bit PWM, meeting various application needs. It operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, with pin-to-pin compatibility across the entire series.

The AP8000 universal programmer developed by ACROVIEW is a powerful programming solution that supports both online and offline versions in one-to-one and one-to-eight configurations, while also providing dedicated programming solutions for eMMC and UFS, fully meeting the bare chip (offline) and on-board programming needs for all Nuvoton series chip models. The host supports both USB and NET connections, enabling networking of multiple programmers to synchronize control of multiple programmers for programming operations. The built-in safety protection circuit can instantly detect abnormal situations such as reversed chip placement or short circuits, and immediately cut off power to ensure the safety of both the chip and the programmer. The host integrates a high-speed FPGA, significantly enhancing data transmission and processing speed. The back of the host features an SD card slot, allowing users to save project files generated by PC software to the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the slot. By using the button on the programmer, users can select, load, and execute programming commands without relying on a PC, which not only reduces the hardware configuration costs of the PC but also facilitates the rapid construction of the working environment.

The AP8000 enhances the host’s expansion capabilities through the combination design of the baseboard and adapter, currently supporting products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including QUECTEL, BEKEN, elmos, Nation, HiTrendtech, and others. The supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and it is compatible with various file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, etc.
