Daan Roosegaarde, a Dutch artist and innovator, along with his team (Studio Roosegaarde), is conducting a series of social design experiments aimed at future landscapes. Daan’s motto is “Schoonheid,” which has two meanings in Dutch: one is “beauty,” referring to creativity; the other is “clean,” referring to clean air and clean energy. For Daan, both should be fundamental elements of daily life, “We must first envision a better future before we can create it.”
