Recently, the Zigbee protocol stack based on TaiLing Microelectronics’ TLSR9 series SoC officially received the compatibility platform certification issued by the CSA Alliance for Zigbee PRO R23 + Zigbee Direct, making it the first chip company in China to obtain this certification. It is worth mentioning that the protocol stack used for this certification was completely developed independently by TaiLing, marking that TaiLing can provide highly optimized overall solutions with independent intellectual property rights.

Zigbee PRO R23, as the latest version of the technical specification released by the CSA Alliance, introduces multiple security enhancements, ensuring and improving security from a technical architecture perspective to meet the ever-changing market demands. As another new technical specification, Zigbee Direct allows users to seamlessly interact with Zigbee networks through smartphones or other Bluetooth Low Energy devices without the need for a gateway, thereby simplifying the design and development process, reducing system complexity, and shortening the time to build solutions.
In addition, while enhancing the overall security and user experience of Zigbee, Zigbee PRO R23 has also expanded frequency band support to a certain extent. After more than 10 years of market deployment, the Zigbee standard continues to develop new features to meet new market demands. Zigbee PRO R23 further strengthens the security, reliability, and network resilience of products, expands application areas, and continuously simplifies the user experience for residential and commercial building users. In design, Zigbee PRO R23 cleverly integrates forward and backward compatibility, ensuring seamless collaboration with older Zigbee devices while supporting the integration of new technologies. This compatibility guarantees a smooth transition for users during the technology upgrade process without the need for a complete replacement of existing devices, effectively extending the product’s lifespan and reducing upgrade costs.

Zigbee PROR23 Key Features
