
Hezhao Air8000—— is a multifunctional industrial engine that integrates 4G, Wi-Fi, BLE, GNSS positioning, G-sensor, and power management, providing powerful scene solution capabilities. It supports multi-network integration and offers over 50 programmable I/O ports to meet the complex peripheral expansion needs of industrial equipment.
Currently, the Air8000 supports LCD screens with SPI and QSPI interfaces:

SPI: Supports up to 480*320, 3.5 inches;

QSPI: Supports up to 720*720, 4 inches.
It is suitable for IoT display terminals, such as temperature and humidity monitoring screens, device status indicators, smart wearable products, etc.; combined with the Air8000 camera module, it can display images or QR code parsing results in real-time.
Hezhao provides supporting Air8000 complete development board kits and demo examples, making it easy for everyone to quickly test and develop projects.

Hardware Support Description
1.1 LCD Interface Types
The Air8000 connects to the LCD screen via a dedicated SPI/QSPI interface, supporting various driver ICs.
The currently supported ones include:

The official LCD used with the Air8000 development board is currently the ST7796, and users can flexibly choose corresponding LCD modules and suppliers in their project development.

Chip Select (CS): Can be controlled by any GPIO (e.g., GPIO35);

Data/Command Select (RS): Can be controlled by any GPIO (e.g., GPIO38);

Reset Control (RST):
Must be controlled by GPIO (e.g., GPIO36), and note that a pull-up resistor should be added in the circuit design, otherwise it will affect low power performance and driving capability.

Backlight Control (BL):
Must be controlled by GPIO (e.g., GPIO30), and note that a pull-up resistor should be added in the circuit design, otherwise it will affect low power performance and driving capability.

1.2 Power and Signal Design
1) Voltage Matching:
LCD modules typically operate at 3.3V levels, which are directly compatible with the Air8000;
2) Backlight Power Supply:
Some LCD modules provided by suppliers require independent power supply for backlight to avoid current spikes caused by sharing power with the LCD driver IC.
The LCD modules used with the Air8000 do not require independent power supply for backlight and can share the same power supply as the LCD.

Software Development Example
The Air8000 has a dedicated hardware LCD driver interface and has encapsulated APIs, so there is no need to write drivers from scratch according to the SPI interface API; Hezhao provides practical demo examples and hands-on tutorials to help everyone get started quickly.
