Rapid Development of the Robotics Industry

The robotics industry is the locomotive of new productive forces and the strongest driving force empowering various sectors. In the first three quarters of this year, China’s robotics products experienced explosive growth, with a year-on-year increase of 29.5%, surpassing the total of last year. At the same time, the quality of robots has significantly improved, with domestic brands successfully developing various high-performance products such as heavy-duty, welding, painting, and mobile robots, filling the gap in high-end robotics. Additionally, service robot technologies such as cleaning robots, delivery robots, educational robots, entertainment robots, and surgical robots are maturing. Embodied intelligent robots have also made significant progress. Yesterday, the world’s first embodied intelligent robot reinforcement learning technology was applied in daily industrial life for the first time, learning from several months and weeks to just a few minutes, advancing the robot from repetitive execution to autonomy. The first mass-produced dexterous hand driven by a large model is a key to the application and large-scale commercialization of humanoid robots, capable of covering 30-40% of non-standardized tasks that traditional grippers cannot handle. Service robots equipped with dexterous hand performance will become “close partners” for human collaborative work.
