On September 18, 2025, the review meeting for the installation engineering organization design of the C-5 nuclear power project in Chashma, Pakistan, successfully concluded at the company headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Liu Wenjie, Assistant General Manager of China Central Plains and Executive Deputy General Manager of the C-5 project, with participation from Liu Weihua, Chief Engineer of China Nuclear Five Company, external experts, and relevant departments.
After four days of review, the review team unanimously concluded that the construction organization design complies with relevant laws, standards, and regulations, and the content is generally complete. After supplementary improvements, it can effectively guide on-site construction. Liu Weihua and Liu Lianxi spoke on behalf of China Nuclear Five Company and the review team, respectively. China Nuclear Five Company stated that it will uphold a scientific and rigorous attitude, fully digest and absorb the review comments and suggestions, and ensure that all opinions and suggestions are effectively implemented.
Subsequently, Liu Wenjie summarized the meeting, first thanking the experts who took time to attend and provide valuable constructive opinions, and also expressing gratitude to China Nuclear Five Company and relevant departments for their careful cooperation and preparation. He pointed out that China Nuclear Five Company should focus on project resource assurance, advanced processes and methods, information technology and smart construction site development, and experience feedback, making good use of the wisdom and results of the experts to complete the improvement of the construction organization design documents to a high standard, laying a solid foundation for building a “dual demonstration” nuclear power engineering project.
Relevant leaders from the Technology and Digitalization Department, Safety and Quality Department, Business Contract Department, Project Control Department, Design Management Department, Procurement Department, and Engineering Construction Department of China Central Plains attended the meeting, with the C-5 project team participating online.
