To cultivate the technological innovation capabilities of young people, the Department Store Community’s New Era Civilization Practice Station, in collaboration with the Youth Affairs Social Work Station of the Heping District, has jointly launched the “Igniting Dreams with Technology: 3D Printing the Future” science popularization practice activity. This event organizes children in the community to immerse themselves in the experience of 3D printing technology. The social work station’s teachers use a “theoretical explanation + practical operation” model to introduce children to the basics of intelligent manufacturing.
During the science popularization lecture, the teacher vividly explains the principles of 3D printing technology, using examples to help children understand the profound impact of technological changes on production and life. When experiencing the 3D printing pen, the teacher first introduces the usage and techniques of the 3D printing pen, and then the children become “little designers,” drawing their creative works stroke by stroke, experiencing the perfect fusion of technology and creativity at their fingertips. The children carefully use the smart temperature-controlled 3D printing pen to create three-dimensional drawings, while the teacher timely guides their thinking, inspiring the children to cultivate engineering thinking through practice.
In the future, the Department Store Community will continue to carry out more diverse and colorful technology practice activities, helping local youth build their dreams through innovative practice.
