Hu Shi Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hu Shi Electronics”) was established in April 1992 and was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in August 2010. The company mainly engages in the design, research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service of printed circuit board (PCB) products for communication and telecommunications equipment, ranking among the top three in China’s PCB industry. In recent years, thanks to its precise grasp of industries such as 5G, automotive electronics, and AI, Hu Shi Electronics has achieved efficient development with improved quality and increased output. Hu Shi Electronics has been included in the major provincial industrial projects for the year 2025.
What is the secret to Hu Shi Electronics’ success as it has grown into an industry giant over the past thirty-three years in Kunshan?
Li Minggui:
Last year, our headquarters in Kunshan High-tech Zone achieved an output value of 8.83 billion, and this year, breaking through 10 billion should not be a problem. Last year, we initiated the expansion project for PCBs dedicated to computing networks. The PCBs for computing networks, as the name suggests, are mainly used in data centers, AI server switches, and enhanced computing power circuit boards. Our company has focused on this for over twenty years, and we are now at the right time. Our high-layer boards can reach over fifty, even sixty layers, which are the future paths of technological development. This technological breakthrough means that our company has entered the ranks of the world’s most advanced high-layer printed circuit boards.
The Kunshan High-tech Zone has established a dedicated service team, significantly accelerating the project timeline.
Li Minggui:
First, I would like to thank the Kunshan High-tech Zone for establishing a working group for our expansion project. We have investments in other places, but here we feel something unique and very good.
In the context of the global economy, how can companies maintain their leading position?
Li Minggui:
It still depends on demand. Our PCBs are specifically used in data sharing, databases, or data centers, and are favored worldwide. Since entering Kunshan in 1993, thirty-two years have passed, during which I have witnessed the development of Kunshan. Simply put, in terms of serving economic investors, I feel Kunshan is the best in the world, with a good investment environment. If we abandon this place, where else can we go?
It is particularly important to emphasize that Hu Shi Electronics has deeply integrated into Kunshan. This is mainly due to our stable and mature employees in Kunshan, which has contributed to the achievements of Hu Shi Electronics today. In fact, the success of Hu Shi Electronics today is thanks to everyone, including the government, employees, and all aspects of support we have received. In the next thirty years, Hu Shi Electronics will continue to be based in China, rooted in Kunshan, and serve globally.
