Abstract:
To reduce agricultural production costs and improve planting efficiency, and to address the challenges of real-time data collection in traditional greenhouses that lead to subjective decision-making, a smart greenhouse IoT monitoring system has been designed. This system is centered around multi-sensor and camera integration technology, utilizing the STM32 microcontroller to control multiple sensors and cameras for real-time and precise monitoring of plant growth status and environmental parameters. The collected multi-dimensional data is transmitted to local display devices and cloud platforms, enabling simultaneous on-site viewing and remote APP monitoring, while integrating crop growth models for big data analysis and intelligent early warning. Additionally, the system employs solar cells and wireless networks, eliminating the need for external power supply and network connections. After field testing and validation, the system has demonstrated good operational stability, real-time performance, and accuracy, providing scientific, refined, and targeted data and analytical guidance for farmers’ production decisions, along with intelligent early warnings, maximizing crop quality and yield, and providing strong support for the development of smart agriculture.
