Guarding Winter Safety
To effectively prevent winter campus safety risks, enhance students’ safety awareness and self-protection abilities, and ensure the safety of students’ lives and property, on November 26, Teacher Zhao Huanhong held a winter safety theme class meeting for Class C24001 in classroom 4404.
At the beginning of the class meeting, Teacher Zhao Huanhong combined the characteristics of winter safety with the actual situation of the class, using PPT presentations, case analyses, and interactive Q&A to provide detailed explanations on key winter safety issues. In terms of fire safety, she emphasized the prohibitions against using high-power electrical appliances in dormitories and unauthorized wiring, demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, explained fire escape techniques, and used examples of campus fire incidents to make students aware of the serious consequences of illegal electricity use. Regarding carbon monoxide poisoning and electrical safety, she explained the symptoms of poisoning, preventive measures, and first aid methods, reminding students to pay attention to indoor ventilation; she also emphasized electrical safety standards to avoid overloading circuits. In the traffic safety and cold prevention segment, she reminded students to obey traffic rules when going out and to be cautious of slippery roads; she suggested that students dress warmly, maintain a balanced diet, and take personal protective measures to prevent the spread of influenza.
Additionally, Teacher Zhao organized interactive discussions, encouraging students to share safety hazards around them and addressing each of their questions to strengthen their safety awareness.
At the end of the class meeting, Teacher Zhao Huanhong summarized and emphasized: winter safety is no small matter, and all students must always stay alert to safety issues and avoid complacency. Teacher Zhao stated that she will regularly check for safety hazards in the class and promote the normalization of safety education. This class meeting effectively enhanced students’ awareness of winter safety precautions and self-protection abilities, laying a solid foundation for creating a safe and warm winter campus environment.
