ⅠNew Features of MDK-ARM
Starting from last month (January 2018), the Keil official website has gradually released MDK525pre and MDK525pre2, but these are not formal release versions (they cannot be seen in the regular Download area), so friends who haven’t followed the updates on the Keil website might find it hard to discover.

It is recommended to download using Thunder; if that doesn’t work, check out my other article Keil (MDK-ARM) Introduction, Download, Installation, and Registration, which provides a Baidu Cloud download link for direct transfer.
We have upgraded two editing features that we are more concerned about:
1. Check Source Code Without Compilation
That is, the source code that is not compiled appears “gray”, such as the code following #if 0, as shown in the image below:
2. Highlight Code
Variables, functions, macro definitions, custom type names, etc., that are contextually the same will be highlighted, as shown in the image below:
3. Other Updates

Added ULINKplus Debug Window: Since ULINKplus is a tool launched by Keil, and it’s relatively expensive, it is used by fewer people.

Compiler Upgraded to ARM Compiler 6.9: Compilation efficiency has improved.

Added Extended Event Recorder Logging.
ⅡST Login Failure
Recently, many netizens reported that the ST official website http://www.st.com can be accessed normally, but they cannot log in to their accounts to download materials. Upon login, the following interface appears:
I personally speculate that it might be due to too many visitors, and the official site has imposed some restrictions. Since I can’t log in either, I recommend everyone to download from the following two places.
1. ST Official Website has a Chinese Site
www.stmcu.com.cn
This site is the officially designated site by ST, making it convenient for friends who are not very good at English. There are many materials available for download, but it is not as rich as the original site (some materials are missing).
2. ST Chinese Community
http://www.stmcu.org
This site is also well organized, and the materials are quite comprehensive.
