Ubiquiti launched its first NAS device, the UniFi UNAS Pro, in October 2024. However, that product features a 2U rack-mounted form factor, which somewhat limits its usage scenarios.

On the 16th of this month, Ubiquiti announced the launch of two desktop UniFi UNAS models, namely the dual-bay UNAS 2 and the four-bay UNAS 4. Both devices feature a sleek vertical design,with a 1.47-inch information display on the front.
Both UNAS 2 and UNAS 4 are based on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor running at 1.7GHz, equipped with 4GB of RAM, and support PoE power supply, Bluetooth 4.1, featuring 1 x 2.5GbE RJ45 and 1 x 5Gbps USB-C; the UNAS 4, in addition to four 3.5-inch SATA bays, also has dual M.2 NVMe slots.



In the rack-mounted UniFi UNAS Pro product line, Ubiquiti has also launched a four-bay 1U and an eight-bay 2U product, both of which can additionally install two M.2 NVMe SSDs and feature dual 10GbE SFP+ optical ports.

The pricing for Ubiquiti’s UniFi storage products in September 2025 is as follows:

UNAS 2: priced at $199 (approximately 1416 RMB at current exchange rates);

UNAS 4: priced at $379 (approximately 2697 RMB at current exchange rates);

UNAS Pro 4: priced at $379 (approximately 2697 RMB at current exchange rates);

UNAS Pro 8: priced at $799 (approximately 5685 RMB at current exchange rates).
