Strategy Analysis
First, let’s take a look at the attributes and effects of Galeforce. Its base stats are 30% attack speed, 30% critical strike chance, and 5% movement speed, with a very high critical strike bonus. The equipment effect allows Galeforce to charge by moving or attacking, and once fully charged, the next attack will gain additional attack range and deal extra magic damage.
Now, let’s analyze this item. Although it does not provide a direct attack power increase, Jhin can convert attack speed into attack power through his passive, Whisper. Therefore, it cannot be said that there is no attack power increase. Additionally, Galeforce has a higher critical strike chance compared to Galeforce and Infinity Edge, and the damage of normal attacks is generally not low. Furthermore, Galeforce has the ability to allow Jhin to hit enemies from a distance, dealing extra magic damage, combined with the passive effect of the fourth shot always critting, a full range AQA can easily whittle down enemies and deal extremely high burst damage. Additionally, the burst of movement speed from Fleet Footwork allows Jhin to better approach enemies and land the fourth shot effectively, exerting strong pressure in the lane. Next, take Critical Strike to enhance Jhin’s ability to finish off and execute low-health enemies after dealing high burst damage. For the secondary rune tree, prioritize Absolute Focus to gain benefits that cannot be matched by other runes due to the existence of his passive, followed by Gathering Storm to enhance Jhin’s late-game combat power.
For equipment, Jhin typically starts with a Doran’s Blade and a health potion for stronger lane sustain and poke. The first item is Galeforce, followed by Infinity Edge, Kraken Slayer or Galeforce, and then choose between Guardian Angel, Mercurial Scimitar, or Lord Dominik’s Regards based on the game situation. Gameplay Strategy
During the laning phase, Jhin lacks mobility and has short legs, so try to use the E skill to create some defensive measures. You can place E in the river bush or at the river entrance to effectively prevent jungle ganks, or place it in the lane bush to create poke opportunities or counterattack chances.
For poke during the laning phase, Jhin’s main damage comes from his fourth shot. Try to hit the fourth shot on enemies as much as possible, then follow up with WQ for poke. With Galeforce, Jhin’s burst point is in the last two shots, so aim to deal burst damage with AQA, then follow up with W control for further poke. If your support also has crowd control, it is generally easy to secure kills.
