On November 22, 2025, the early winter in Shenyang was filled with the warmth of technology. In the gymnasium of Yuren School in the Tiexi District, the 5th “Revitalization Cup” AI Robotics Competition officially kicked off, hosted by the Tiexi District Education Bureau and the Tiexi District Science and Technology Association, and co-organized by the Shenyang Youth AI Cultivation Base (Zhongliao Shenyang Education Technology Company) and Shenyang Shenshi Yuren School. Over 200 elite teams and more than 500 students with technological dreams gathered to engage in a competition that intertwined wisdom and creativity, blending theory and practice.
This was not just a competition, but a grand display of the achievements in technological education for the youth of Shenyang.
Three Major Competitions, Fully Igniting AI Practical Enthusiasm
This year’s competition closely aligns with the forefront of AI education, featuring three major themes: “Soccer Robots”, “Supercharged Action”, and “APM Space Exploration”. These projects are meticulously designed to be scientific, engaging, challenging, and competitive, aiming to comprehensively cover the developmental needs of students from primary to secondary school.
On the competition field, we witnessed not only intense competition and scoring but also a concentrated display of the younger generation’s problem-solving abilities. Contestants needed to focus on debugging equipment, calmly respond to unexpected situations, and efficiently coordinate tactics with teammates. Each precise grasp of the robotic arm encapsulated countless attempts and thoughts. The cheers and applause during moments of success were the best rewards for their wisdom and hard work.
Five Years of Hard Work, Witnessing the Abundant Fruits of “Learning through Competition”
Director Zhang Haiying of the Education Supervision Office of the Tiexi District reflected on-site: “The ‘Revitalization Cup’ AI Robotics Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools has been successfully held for five sessions. We are pleased to see that the scale of participation has expanded year by year, and the level of competition has steadily improved. This confirms the significant effectiveness of the ‘learning through play, practicing through competition’ model.”
As Director Zhang said, a high-level competition platform has become an important link connecting basic education with cutting-edge technology. It is not just a certificate of award, but a key step in transforming young people’s fleeting interest in technology into a long-term passion, and then refining imaginative ideas into solid capabilities.
Principal Zhang Xiuzhi of Shenyang Yuren School provided us with a vivid success example. Since 2020, Yuren School has systematically introduced robotic teaching tools and courses, established an AI robotics programming club, and formed a school team. This team has represented the Tiexi District for four consecutive years, achieving excellent results in municipal, provincial, and even national competitions, successfully opening a new path for students’ development in technology.

Mission of the Base: Building a Technological Ladder to the World Stage
As the organizer and operator of this competition, the Shenyang Youth AI Cultivation Base feels a great responsibility. The base leader emphasized during the introduction of the competition: “This year’s competition particularly emphasizes competitiveness and comprehensiveness. It requires contestants to not only have a solid foundation in graphical programming but also to flexibly design, build, and expand the functions of robots based on actual tasks, while also testing the team’s collaboration skills to the extreme.”
Furthermore, as a co-organizer of the ROBOG special event of the World Robotics Competition, the base has organized over 2000 outstanding contestants from Shenyang to participate in various national-level competitions on the Ministry of Education’s whitelist over the past five years. We understand that every competition experience is a powerful stimulation of young people’s enthusiasm for technological exploration.
The 5th “Revitalization Cup” has concluded successfully, but the technological journey of the youth in Shenyang has just begun. The Shenyang Youth AI Cultivation Base will continue to uphold its original intention, work hand in hand with various forces, and deepen the field of AI and robotics education, sowing the seeds of science for more children and igniting the flame of innovation.
